A BIT OF OUR STORY

1999

DESOTO SWIFT TRACK CLUB Founded in 1999, by Head Coach/President Kevin Dozier a Texas A&M University scholarship track member and graduate of the Aggie Class of 1994. First year team membership, 7 athletes.

2001

The team expanded to 48 team members and added additional coaching and support staff.

2004

DESOTO SWIFT TRACK CLUB achieved it's first Junior Olympic medalist, Myron Turner Jr.

2008

After 10 years in existence, DESOTO SWIFT TRACK CLUB hosted the 1st annual Memorial Weekend Classic Track Meet. Continued growth and success in Team membership and Junior Olympic performance.

2012

DESOTO SWIFT TRACK CLUB team member, Lamarq Davis, breaks the national record in 400m for Sub Youth boys. The Record Still Stands Today!

2014

DESOTO SWIFT TRACK CLUB team member, Lamarq Davis, breaks the national record in 400m for Sub Youth boys.

2016

DESOTO SWIFT TRACK CLUB team member, Lamarq Davis, breaks the national record in 400m for Sub Youth boys.
